ORMOC CITY, Philippines, July 27, 2015 – AIG in the Philippines has officially handed over 63 houses to families who survived the wrath of super typhoon Yolanda. The families live in Barangay Margen, located in Ormoc City in the province of Leyte in Central Philippines.
MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Residents of two towns in Bohol province will finally be able to drink without fear of water-borne diseases due to two newly rehabilitated water supply systems funded by Coca-Cola Philippines through Habitat for Humanity Philippines.
In the town of Tubigon, a 105,000-liter water storage tank will provide clean water to 500 families in the barangays of Panaytayon, Ilijan Norte and Ilijan Sur. Meanwhile, 2,000 families across nine barangays in the town of Maribojoc will benefit from a new multi-filtration water system that outputs 1.2 million liters of clean water per day.
