A transformational opportunity
Yearning for a more meaningful career, former OFW Conceso persevered in looking for opportunities, and fortunately, he heard a radio announcement about a free construction training program under the Panday Buhay project, to which he eagerly applied. The training helped him secure a National Certification Level II for Electrical Installation and Maintenance and enabled him to serve a disaster-stricken community in Cebu.

Breaking stereotypes and barriers
A woman of perseverance and resilience, 60-year-old Marilyn is proof that women can flourish in any industry if they have the right training and opportunity. Through the Panday Buhay project, Marilyn took up the electrical installation and maintenance trade program and secured a certification, which led to a job that allows her to have a more stable income.
