Fifty-nine-year-old Elvie is one of the millions of Filipinos who fulfilled their dream of having their own safe and decent home with the help of Habitat Philippines, and has also built a better life since living in the Habitat community for 15 years now.

The Laylo family has been living in the Habitat community in Pinagsama, Taguig City for 20 years now. A lot has already changed since they moved in 2004 but Gina could still remember the joy of being a new homeowner.
